Default Cape Coral best place to buy tackle

Where's the best place to get fishing equipment in Cape Coral
Bought a boat last time down
Heading down Monday for a week
Want to get set up and not spend a fortune
Bass pro or a good local shop?

Not sure what you're looking for but check out the snook hut. Tell Mike, Bob from Louisiana sent you.

Cape Tool and Tackle is one. There are actually quite a few, avoid Bass Pro, its a long drive.

Cape Tool and Tackle, also Lehrs on the 41 (Cleveland ave) North Fort Myers are both really good. Good selection and prices in both stores.

Good luck.

Love to support the little local guys for tackle like D&D in Matlacha but when it comes to rods and reels you can't beat West Marine or Bass Pro for selection/options. I really wish we had a Sunshine Ace Hardware closer. If you have time, take the ride to S Ft Myers Sunshine Ace

Sun shine ace is good, if you really want to buy bulk Rite Angler in Fort Myers. They carry terminal tackle, no fancy jigs or anything that sort.

Ace hardware on cape parkway has an okay selection of stuff but as mentioned you can't beat the selection at WM or BP.

Fishin' Franks here in Punta Gorda opened up a place in the Cape or Ft Myers I believe. They have great prices.

D&D in Matlacha, has a great selection of tackle, knowledge about the area, and also live bait. Kind of your one stop shop if you are going that direction. Cape Tool and Tackle is good also. Never used the Snook Hut since I am in the NW Cape. Fishin Franks in Port Charlotte is great, just a long drive unless you are going that way. Havent been to their store in North Fort Myers.

Cape Tool and Tackle on Pine Island rd
Lehrs Economy Tackle on old 41
Capt Robs Del Prado Blvd - small selection of tackle but good guy and live bait
Snook Hut on Cape Coral Pkwy
Crazy Lure off of Lafayette- more of a bait shop than tackle
West Marine on Cape Coral Pkwy decent selection of gear but it's West Marine
