Anyone second Island Marine ?

Want some R&R time as well as some boating time , should I get the boat for the week or stick to 3 days and a golf cart for a few days ?

I'm here now. Rented 23 Albury from Island Marine. Great boat in excellent condition. Would definitely recommend. Parrot Cay is very easy pickup/dropoff if staying in Elbow.

Get boat and cart for whole week. You will regret not having both. Boat is important during day and cart at night.

Sea Spray or the Abaco Inn. Few VRBO houses near by as well. Call now and start finding a place as the better places book months in advance.

Island Marine is the best place to rent from. Great people and even better boats!

Went last week, tried to clear at Spanish for $50.00 plus the Vat tax now. Customs was at the airport ( New Person). Was told not to leave the boat and can no longer clear while eating. Asked for a refund and left.

When to GTC and customs was closed for the day, cleared at Boat Harbor after an hour wait and a cost of 1/2 day slip rental that can be redeemed at the bar. Next time for me will be West End and fill up. It was 5.00 per gallon at Boat Harbor for gas with the VAT tax.

We packed our Engle coolers with block ice and dry ice, lasted 5 days.

Hope the issue at Spanish was a one time thing. We are planning to clear there in June.

If you have a boat and want to stay at a house near Sea Spray, there a few houses in White Sound with private docks. We just stayed at Paradise House with 6 adults 6 kids. Rented 2 Albury 20s from Island, they are awesome. Check the link, smaller house and may fit your needs.

They remodeled the bar and dining area at Sea Spray from last year. I am not sure about the rooms but you'll love it. Kids have a blast playing games and in the pool. I would get a golf cart, makes it easier to get around especially at night when boat's not a great option. Going back to Man o War, first of June and counting the days.

Huh, I'll try calling when it gets closer and see if anything has changed again. Hopefully some others try and report back between now and June.
