Has anyone in the NSB, Daytona area done a porch/pool sail shade at their home. I assume that boat canvas companies would do this type of work and we want one for the west ( Hot as Hell ) side of our home. Any recommendations for canvas co. in the area. Thanks.

I did the shades on Amazon, they come in all different shapes and sizes. Came out awesome. And they are really cheap. Here is a square one, a lot of people do the triangles and overlap too.

x2 on the Amazon shades. We had them at our old house and they were awesome. Easy to take down in a hurricane.

New house we had Tops By Tony in Daytona do a built in awning for us over a large area on the back porch. Not cheap, but looks good.

Looking for the average pricing on slip pricing at the marinas down there? I donít need to know exactly what your paying but Iíll be moving down soon and was curious on what you all are paying down there. Let me know if you can help me out. If you donít want to post on here PM me of that would be better. Thanks for your help.

Your the best man, always hooking a brother up!! Youíll have to let me know when you go out trolling for the day and need someone to tag along and help pay for fuel and some beer! Glad I can trailer my boat for now but never know in the future. My old man was paying around $700 a month for a 34í back in the late 80ís Early 90ís in Mystic CT. Thatís why he got rid of the boat.

I keep my boat in the city marina on a yearly lease. I pay 456.00 a month for a 38 FT slip. That is all in, slip,30 amp service, water and taxes. The dockmaster's name is Pam and the entire crew is great. I believe there is a waiting list for a slip.

anyone have a GOOD and RELIABLE mobile electronics installer in the New Smyrna area, specifically Garmin certified? I need a MFD installed at my helm and a reoccurring amp issue resolved....preferably while keeping my boat on my lift. TIA!

Default Rapala xrap trolling lures

Anyone have much luck with the rapala xrap 30 or 40's while trolling further offshore for mahi. I know they are great for kings at the party grounds and stuff but we never troll them out deep. It's usually just skirted ballyhoo. Thinking about putting one out in the spread this year

So-so. I like having 1 deep-driver running short-center as my 6th line. It's will snag a few here and there.

I have in the past but the big problem I have with them is it is harder to reel in the fish with them and when they jump it is more weight that will help them to throw the hook

They are extending the parking lot and splitting the ramp with a floating dock.

by how much? It would be nice to have them open up the fenced in area!

The fence area directly west of the parking lot has been taken down and extended. Probably doubling the spaces. I hope they widen the turn on the north side of the lot so its easier to go around. I wish they would have just extended existing docks instead of splitting the ramp.
