May try to head out to the gulf stream if the weather holds. They are saying 3 to 4 w/ 10 knot north winds.

What are you guys seeing on reports?

I'll be looking to find some mahi and maybe a wahoo trolling bally's around from 140' to 280'. Not sure if I'll go out deeper than 280'. Most of my fish have been caught between 180 and 220'.

Good luck! The mahi trolling has been so slow that I'm not going to bother. Need to grab some kings for the smoker so I can make fish dip for Christmas and New Years parties. Will also try to pull up some snapper or whatever else we can keep from the bottom.

Looking at reefs and wrecks from 75-100ft water probably.

How's the water looking?? We went out a couple of weeks ago and water was green...I'm not sure how far out we needed to go to find the blue water?

Went with a buddy today out of SI. Dirty green out to 100 ft. Cleaner green to 200, blue water in 220 and beyond. Very slow, only Mahi trolling but found a hunk of wood in the weed line with triple tail under it. Came back with four in the 8 to 10 lb range

Any updates on sea conditions. My buddy thinks the NE wind is going to make it rough.

We were planning on going on his boat, but things have changed.

Weatherbug is calling SW winds switching to NW around midnight and then N, staying N @ 11 for the day.

That is for Cape Canaveral, so expect it to jump to more like 15 once you clear the protection of the bite

20 Mile buoy has been 2-2.5@ 4 sec all day with wind 13 gusting to 18. Even at 2ft, 4 second period is crappy

I'm gonna be at the Port ramps around 6am Sun. morning.
At 3:50 the 20 mile buoy reported 1.6 @ 4 sec.

I'll be out. East of N Pelican and start pulling around 230+ or first noticeable temp-break/sign of life. Will be on 68, holler if nearby.

Not great. Real short period stacks. 8a was lively but trolling out 120-150 ft before was dead and one 3ft wave followed by another 2 secs after.

Same report as Brad. A bit chewy with short intervals, relentless wind. Got one blackfin @ 160' on the way out to 300', then picked up 3 mahi, and another blackin working S-N between 120-150'. The grass we did find held the mahi.
