Anyone thinking about heading out this Saturday? Looks like a small break in the weather before a front blows thru on Sunday morning.

I was just going to ask the same. been busy at work and not paying attention to weather. My brother arrived today and I'm trying to get out either tomorrow or Saturday. You thing Saturday will be the best?

Why not both days just to be safe?

Honestly, I'm not sure which day will be better. The weather report just updated from 2-3 to 3-4... So I'm going to keep my eyes on it.

I took a few guys out Saturday out of Ponce and fished the 10 Fathoms area. We caught over 40 ARS. We could barely catch anything else. They ate everything we dropped everywhere we went. This fish was caught on a jigging spoon.

Yup, it's open. The Jetty pier is still closed however.

I'll be out for a bit - heading deep. Watch out for the launch zone tomorrow afternoon.

The weather was great Saturday, easy time out not bad coming back in. Started to get pretty rough around 1pm. Went out to ~150 feet and kept getting hits so we stayed and trolled. Some small Bonita, my brother caught a young Marlin, it was his first time saltwater fishing. We had a blast. No mahi, but next time.

Got boarded on the way in, no tickets issued.

Well done on the marlin.

What time did FWC find you? Saw the same boat out on the party grounds off of Ponce on Saturday afternoon around 2pm. I'm sure they have probably have more than one of the same type running around here?

They didn't stop us but saw them run up on another rec boat who was on his way in, FWC turned around pulled next to them for 30 seconds and then turned another 180 and headed back east towards a commercial boat.

Text messages are a beautiful thing! Sent my wife a text at 1:36pm just after we got boarded. That boat can fly, I'm pretty sure it had 4x 350 Verados. I was coming in at 35+mph and he ran me down like I was standing still. We were pulled over just outside the port.

They were all out... Coasties, Fish/Game and Sheriff, looking for easy tickets. My brother forget to get a license and we told them, he said they didn't catch us in the act and it didn't matter.
