The plan was to catch some Crocker for baitt and fish the jetty for drum and sheepshead today ( got a late start. Last minute decision. ).
But it was so nice out, I decided to head out to 8a and do some bottom fishing. Caught the usual ARS one after the other. Decided to go check out one of the close by wrecks. Caught a nice sized ARS, a sheepshead and a black drum.
Headed back in.
Coming back across the sholes was 5 foot and breaking.

Screw this wind and rough seas, we hit the freshwater on the HeadHunter II last weekend and brought home some for the fryer.

I wish, but I have too much family coming to visit in the next few months that I can't bug out of work for an offshore day.

The tail should have looked like this . I think scamp and broomtail grouper are the only ones that have that tail .
