HH- what was your other side total distance covered?

Nice snook too.

I'm heading down to Vero Beach tomorrow to look at houses and possibly a new home for my Comp.

Went out Saturday 3/16. Seas were nice most of the day. Water temps early were 67-68 until we got close to the stream. Picked up a balloon floating in the water on the way out. It was sent up as a tribute to cousin Pedro's passing so I guess Pedro joined us for our fishing day. Rode out to 600 feet and the only thing fishy we saw were a pair of weed lines in the 200' range. Trolled the lines for a couple hours with only one short strike. Radio chatter sounded see if others were struggling for a bite as well. Stopped on some bottom markings in 180' and played tug o war with some big ARS for a little while. Then headed in to 8A and struck out on trolling for kings. North wind really picked up around 3, which made for a wet ride in from 8A.

Not sure I remember the distance. Last time I remember being 90 back to the inlet and burned roughly 120 gallons all day. I brought 30 extra just in case.

Anyhow, went Saturday for some bottom time. Didn't limit out but got some bottom groceries.

Forecast is starting to look good. I'm making a few calls for a crew on either Saturday or Sunday. Keeping fingers crossed.

What is your view on the wave height? Period is looking good at 10 to 11 seconds, but the height is hovering at 4'. Looking to troll the GS.

Temps stayed around 63 degrees past pelican and then a steep climb to about 73 degrees around 200 feet. Hit 76 degrees at about 400 feet.
