Because he didn't mean to kill a person. It's obviously not fortunate.... Not saying he shouldn't pay for his share of the screwup but there's not a single positive aspect here.

I was being kind here to those that claim to know him. Personally, I'd like to see him punished for his stupidity. It will effect all of us ultimately.

It couldn't be, I don't even own a gun. It's more a Billboard/ Casey Kasem reference, since your into rating threads, PinHead.

Well damn, I made a joke a few weeks ago somewhere on THT about the family suing the outboard manufacturer, the prop manufacturer, and HS. I didnt really think it could be done...

You can sue anybody and everybody... Whether your case has merit is another matter altogether... That's why there's something called nuisance suits...

Surprised by how easy this DJ Laz got off. He went to that sandbar specifically to promote hard liquor. And then gets one obvious consequence of that. A drunk guy making bad decisions and standing next to his boat when he shouldn't be. Then Laz caps off his day by throttling his motors without knowing or caring if anyone is in the wrong spot. The family is right to go after Laz.

Careless boating citation and has to take a boater safety course. Less than what you'd get if your fish was an inch too short.
THE BARRACUDA and chester22 like this.

Now tell me again how equitable FWC actions are. Short fish or dead person?

"Your honor I apologize for catching undersized fish. It won't happen again. I wiil here after spending my time killing people thru grossly negligent actions".
