Personally, I believe it is the same. I went out Thursday afternoon and also end up with two small dolphins in the cooler and released 2 other.

went out tues. morning out of haulover and ran out to 800 feet and trolled. Landed 7 decent fish this way. kept trolling for about another hour with nothing until I came up to huge scattered patches of weed. started drifting with them and landed 14 more. these were all small cows about 22 to 24 except for one bull that was closer to 30. we went back in around 12. could have stayed and caught more, but was not looking forward to all that boat/fish cleaning. This was by far my best dolphin trip in terms of quantity

Nice dolphin! Went out Saturday night to fish the reef myself and could only find jacks.

Saturday was a wash, went out with three rookies and nada. Started at around 650, trolled out to about 950, couldn't find weeds or birds. Was hoping for at least one hit for the virgins but will need to wait for another day. Thursday I head out with my best fishing partner, my admiral!!

Anchored out on a shallow wreck with my wife, brother and his girlfriend Saturday night. We were looking for YT but ended up with 2 muttons. They hit at midnight on the dot and then nothing the rest of the night. This is off Hollywood.

Were you chumming? Kind of strange that nothing else showed up in the evening.

Plenty of everything showed up. We caught a few blue runners, a couple jacks. We had a school of Gogs and I ended up catching one and attempted to live bait it back out. (It got tore up by triggers) I also saw a school of ballyhoo but had nothing to catch them with. The muttons were the only thing I was going to bring home for dinner.

We were chumming and using chum balls as well. The current was ripping when we were out. There were a ton of scattered weeds too so every few minutes I'd have to clear weeds.

There were quite a few cold ones and the girls aren't very experienced so there was a lot of time spent tying rigs and coaching. I also brought my new puppy along so I also had to baby sit a little bit. We ended up launching at 2030 and got home at 0330. I wish we caught 10 tails a person but the tunes and the company was good and the beer was cold.
It was like glass, I was able to run about 30kts (fast for me) and not get a drop of spray. The pup slept in the bow but was a little timid underway. Here is a pic of her sleeping in my lap when we we're idling towards PE. Great night

that looks like it might be "the barge" if it is, it loaded with lanes. I normally stop there for spot grunts as bait.

where did you put in?

we fished out of LHP friday night. conditions were great & we got the tails fired up then the wind shifted out of the NW & we lost the current. caught about 12 tails & a grover.

ran way off (42line) yesterday for the fins but once again I missed them by a day, west winds didn't help either.

I saw you over the weekend pulling your boat down Stirling. You were headed West towards 95. I put in at Harbour Towne. I was going to go to Haulover because Jason did well on YT there earlier (I saw he got your fish by .25 lbs ) but my brother got tied up and I didn't get to my house until 8 so I figured at that point I was okay with a 2 minute drive but didn't feel like driving 30+ minutes fighting the late dinner crowd down A1A and Federal. I'm not really sure if I was on the barge. My Garmin is a cheapo and didn't even have it on the chart. I saw structure and tossed the anchor over. I just looked at my Navionics app and it said the Hopper Barge was in the area so maybe it was it ;? I believe he pulled up a few grunts too but I can't remember.

Went out early Saturday headed SE until I hit 650 feet and set up my spread. Lots of weeds kept me busy clearing lines. As I cleared one and let it out, it took off. Gave the rod to a rookie to fight and two other hit. They averaged about 6 pounds. Headed in around 10:30 with dolphin for the world cup the next day.

Friday afternoon ran out to 800ft, lots of scat weeds ran across a 2x4 and plucked 6 schoolies. Trolled the way back in and picked up a 20lb wahoo on the shotgun bally. Then set the kites up at my favorite spot, 300yds south and outside of the can and went 2 for 3 on sails. Not a bad day for leaving the dock at 4 o clock.

Went out yesterday and it was flat calm. Picked up 5 or 6 nice sized dolphin around a big log floating about 10 miles offshore. Trolled back in and caught a blackfin. Not a bad day for only a couple hours of fishing.
