Default Central Florida Fence Install & Tree Removal

Hello,

Does anyone who lives in Central Florida have a go to fence installation company? I'm am looking to install 50' of vinyl fencing which should be a straightforward job. I would install it myself but with current personal issues I have not had the time. Even a handyman should be able to complete the job.

Also, I have an oak tree in the yard that I am looking to remove if someone knows a reputable tree trimming/cutting company.

I live just south of downtown Orlando and do not have an HOA. Thanks in advance!

I am just a little east of you in Oviedo. We used a tree service to take out an oak that was in a tight spot between the fence and pool. They did a great job and came highly recommended. I got about 6 quotes and they were absolutely the cheapest and they pulled the permit with no added fees.

I live in College Park and used Prince of Trees after my prior tree service butchered one of our Oaks. Highly recommend them. We actually used Lowe's on our last fence issue and they did a good job and were cheaper and more communicative than a few of the local fence companies we called.

Last time I had trees cut down I used Martin Tree services out of Oviedo. They were quick. The foreman got way up in the tree and made quick work of all the branches. They removed two large trees, and two overgrown bushes (that looked like small trees) in a half a day. I was impressed. I think I paid $1600 for that.

Can't help on the fence. I did my own last time, but will be following to see who people like. I'm not as young as I once was.

I used Mossy Oak for 50 foot of vinyl fence a year or so ago. Make sure you barter and try and give them a "cash" option right now.

Wulff Fence did about 105' of mine in vinyl. I live in Oviedo and had Mossy Oak and Fence outlet quote me and Wulff was alot cheaper. Also I have used Tree Monkeys multiple times for trimming and removal of oaks, they have an app and I did everything on my phone, including the quote and payment. Both were very east to do business with.

OP- I've used Fence Outlet and have been pretty happy.

My brother and I own a large landscape company. I recommend using A Budget Tree Service. The owner has been a friend for about 20 yrs and we use them solely for our apartment complexes.

These guys were as honest as they come. Great crew. I used them twice when we lived in Orlando.

OP- careful who you use when it comes to tree removal. Many tree companies don't MAINTAIN insurance/ worker's comp. A couple of the recommended ones did not pass insurance coverage when our carrier researched their coverage. What happens is they get covered for a month and then cancel it the following. For the remaining 11 months they just provide phony insurance paperwork.

Thank you everyone for the insight! I will reach out to them for quotes.

J Lightning Thank you for pointing that out. I probably wouldn't have looked into that. The tree is over mine and my neighbors houses so I will definitely look into it.

I used Apopka Tree Service a couple of years ago. They did a good job, have their own crane and were cheaper then others...I definitely would use them again.
