Saw this guy in the channel today when heading out of the Manatee before the bend to the ICW.

Looks like a fence post? Also looks like a fresh cut at the bottom?

I swear some folks think the waterways are dumpsters!
My boat stays on a creek in Pinellas and people throw all kind of S**T into it on a regular basis.
Thanks for saving some ones lower unit!

Agreed but it easily could have come off a dock or other structure. Part of it looks ripped off. I ilive on the water and seeing what floats by my house give sme pause to never be on plane at night. I'm surprised at how many people go full out in the ICW at night. Singlehandedly one of the dumbest things to do on the water.

Up here in NE with 9-10 ft tides that is considered a nuisance. We're used to old pilings and trees floating around the harbors and bays.
