Default Berry island/Chub area Marina

I’d like to keep my boat over there for a couple of months. Chub quoted 50/day for my 34LOA center console. I’ve heard that is a safe marina.

any other suggestions in the Berry/Chub vicinity? I’d like to be In that area because I can head south to Exuma’s, over to Harbor Island, or up around the corner to whatever is open and the Abacos.

Chubb has a beautiful marina with floating docks, you won't be disappointed.

No place is safe for a big center console, I don’t have one but there’s no way I would just leave mine over there unattended

I am thinking of the same with my boat (I have my own plane). Are you planning on keeping yours in the water? Is it bottom painted? I would also consider Great Harbour. I like Chub better for fishing and diving, but like the island better at Great Harbour. Great Harbour marina seems pretty safe, slightly behind Chub. I was also considering a dry rack at Spanish Wells, but not sure our boats would fit. COVID restrictions delayed my plans.

And by the way, with the economic challenges there now, I would expect boat thefts might increase.

Steven and the staff at Great Harbour Marina are excellent and will sometimes accommodate slip requests based on your preference. The difference is that at Great Harbour, many of the boaters stay on their relatively smaller boats and on the docks hanging out so it is less likely for someone to feel comfortable stealing a boat from there as opposed to Chub ... just my opinion.

I have left my CC for two seasons at GHC without any problems whatsoever.
Take appropriate cautions and get to know the locals and you won't have any problems.
