Simrad to garmin coordinates
 

Hey guys and gals I need some help here. I had a buddy give me some numbers and what he sent to me was off his simrad and they look like 00.00.000N 000.00.000W. But my garmin they have the latitude 00.00.000. How do you convert? Sorry if this is super novice.

Change the settings in your garmin to match the format you're installing. I dont know if thats necessary but i have done it that way just un case. Then set that back to whatever format you prefer after you transfer..

I have some conversion software. Just PM them to me and I'll get it straightened out.

I have a similar program. Send them to me for confirmation that they transferred correctly

I have it as well send it

put them in excel, change the format and download homeport, enter them in there, put homeport on SD disk
OR
I have active captain app and you can enter 1-2 if you are linked up with that way.
