Default Florida entering phase 3 effective immediately

Thank God for governor DeSantis, just opened the state back up now we can open restaurants back to 100%. Any bars or restaurants that received fines during covid-19 suspended. It is going to be a great weekend in Florida.

I might be to stupid to be afraid, but I am smart enough to understand that without a spine I need to be defensive and mindful.

The governor was basically saying that the closures were not effective. Miami-Dade County had restaurants closed while nearby Broward County had restaurants open and there was no difference in cases per capita.
No matter what you think about this whole thing as a restaurant owner this is huge news for us. I have had too many friends close restaurants permanently because of this, we were able to survive but barely, this is a game changer.

To each his own. My good friend has been out living life. He tested positive along with his wife, sister, BIL, cousin, and their kids. They went to their rural lake house and spread it around. Hes been in his house for 17 days waiting on a positive test so he can go back to work.

Why do you say it wont be the whole state?

Garett, most people buy into the BS the government has told them this is no different than any flu season and shutdowns and a silly mask are not going to stop it if you are going to get it.

And honestly we have not been bottled up we have been out to dinner every night since day one supporting our community we don't cook at home and go out every night never stopped. And we run a retail business and through all of this we have only known 4 people that new someone directly or family that have had it and we come in contact with a lot of people.

I feel for those that have lost friends and family

I only caught the last half of the news conference and then read it online. Unless I'm mistaken he opened the whole state and is stopping local government from putting restrictions on bars and restaurants.

You can still go out safely, as much as I hate wearing a mask we still wear them and our employees wear them. However I have at least a thousand customers and know a lot of people I know five total that had the virus one person died because he was very unhealthy. He probably would have died if he caught the flu. You can say whatever you want about this but we have not gotten the full truth whether it was intentional or not.
