Default South Florida Mullet Run 2020

I was wondering if anyone’s been seeing the mullet yet anywhere south of Hillsboro Inlet. Feel free to send some pics of what you catch when they start coming back, let’s try to help each other out, thanks and tight lines🤙

I’ve been hearing that they’re at Stuart, there were a couple fingers in the surf today in Miami, I don’t think that’s connected to the run though

Was on the beach a couple days this past weekend up here in Jupiter. Saw one school of many 2 dozen mullet come by and that was it.

Nothing in Boca yet, there were here this week last year. Hate to say it but we need a storm to hit the coast north of here to get them moving south.

Have heard they are starting to pour out of the inlets in st. augustine/Jax.

Based on that, when would they hit central florida, the port canaveral to sebastion inlet region?

I'd like to trailer over this year but next 2 weekends are booked for scalloping, i'd hate to miss it again this year.

From what I’ve heard, it all depends on the weather, north winds or a storm normally push them further down south.

In the 80's the mullets were thick at Joey's on Singer Island.

I live on the Indian River in Stuart. Just saw the first big school getting blown up by something this morning (Sept 8). I was too far away to see what it was. Until this morning, I haven't seen any mullet yet.

Spent the past 2 weekends with the family at the last drive on approach north Ponce. Large schools from finger mullet to biggens. Tarpon rolling just past the sandbar.

I wonder if the mullet will come down now because of this, the water temps have gone down 5 degrees. What do you guys think, are they gonna come down now or no?

I've seen some jacks crashing fish in my canal about a mile north of Hillsboro Inlet. No big schools though.
