Default Gulf Weather looking good for this weekend

As of right now it looks like all the buoy's are forecasting under 2ft actually around 0.4 to 1.2 ft should be pretty flat out their this weekend.

Planning to make some runs out and try to put the first fish in the new boat finally.

Did you look at the radar this morning and the T-storm forecast.

What app are you looking at for t-storms? I see scattered storms in the Gulf now. Planning a run offshore tomorrow.

I use Radar Scope on my phone.
If you do the pro option it's like 10 bucks a year. That enables real time Lightening data that can be very useful. It also will give you storm velocities and directional arrows for movement. Very Handy tool. Just looked and there is weather out there now and the one off Sarasota has fire in it.

Forecast is iffy for the next 2 days with this southerly flow. Rain chance are around 60% with T-storms sliding up the coast. Very little wind though. Pattern calls for a normal east wind starting this weekend. I have a trip Friday so I am watching the pattern.

You should have good weather I think. Just watch that we don't get into those west moving storms late in the day.

It's showing pretty much no wind for the near future in the coming week. My buddies have been crushing the mango's at night.

Thanks for the info. Will be hitting some spots from 125' to 140' targeting grouper and snapper. Any suggestions on working through the ARS to get to targeted species?

Going tomorrow before daylight if the gulf is not too hot with lightning, looked a bit iffy this morning.

Going to catch bait in a little bit and are planning a run to the NW tomorrow up off Bayport. Maybe, it's ugly up that way this morning.

I look for the rigs off ms and al to have 20 plus boats each. I don’t like it slick, 1’-2’ is generally better fishing for me. I thought about Running around and trying Some new spots.

stay hydrated its going to be HOT!

Nice haul LC, and only 30+- miles. Light on fuel and heavy on meat is a good day. Heading out of Venice inlet in a couple hours. Buoys showing a little extra breeze than I’d hoped, but it may lay down. No fire in the sky is a good start.
