Default Garmin radar refurb

Does anyone around southern Florida know a gentleman that refurbs Garmin radars? I believe his name is Tim, I read about him in a forum but I can’t locate where. I know Max electronics does but I want to discuss a specific topic with this gentleman that he is apparently very proficient in

Contact Max at Max Marine Electronics in Ft Lauderdale, if he can't do it he might know who can.

Just spent $6,400. Replacing mine with a new 12KW Garmin unit, the original one was only 5 years old.

it’s ridiculous that garmin can’t turn out a better product than five years for the $ they want
