K-9 Obedience Training

I have a 14 week old doberman that I would like to get into an obedience training program and then expand into agility training. This is my 3rd doberman and while the previous 2 were great dogs they only knew the basic commands. I know what Dobermans are capable of and want this little guy to reach his potential. He’s already learned the basics sit, down, stay and come on command, still working on the leash training. House training is almost there, he’ll go to the back door most of the time when he needs out.
Does anyone have personal experience with trainers in the SW Broward area that specialize with this breed? I’m not looking for one of those programs that takes your pup for 6 weeks and returns them trained, I want to be a part of the training.
Thanks

Try Mike at Champion Dog Training, in Greater Ft. Lauderdale area,,, retired BSO ran the K9 unit. Good guy,, he helped us with out 1 YO lab when we got him. I know I've recommended here before,,, do believe there's a member with a Brindle Bull Dog that tried him. Can remember his handle. Maybe @Triplenet

good luck great looking pup. Remember during training , telll your dog what you want them to do, not what you dont want , best advice I ever got ! Never lose patience ,always be the good guy ,a dog never needs to be hit , everything positive ,,,, when you get more advanced contact diane bauman shes the best trainer , shes in tenn but worth trip , she also has several training books

Sorry not exactly SW Broward and not sure of specific breed experience but I've used the guy who does Wednesday night training at the tower shops in Davie. I train service dog pups there. It's you with the dog but may be more basic than what you want even though they have a pup class, an advanced class and a show dog class running concurrently. Also not sure if they are currently holding class with the Covid issues. Commanddogtraining.com
