Default FWC officer killed this morning
Happened in our small town of LaBelle. Quite possibly the nicest young man you could ever meet. Graduated from LaBelle high school and was always fun to hang out with. RIP Julian. https://www.nbc-2.com/story/42244997...led-in-labelle

We went to academy together and were partners for another 1.5 years when I was in Glades county. Lots of cases together, hurricane deployments together. He was a great friend and it has been one of the worst days of my life.

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

I can't imagine the climate our fine folks in the profession are facing now.

This is terrible news. I never met Julian, but we interact with the FWC guys at our hunting lease which is just north of Labelle. They have always been great guys and easy to talk to and deal with. May he RIP.
