Default Best fishing? Where?

With boarders being shut down the question is, where would you go within the continental US to fish this summer, who has the best fishing. We just got back to Florida and ready to go find the fish

Being I live in Florida on the west coast if I could not leave the continental US and go to the Bahama's or anywhere else and could only fish out of the east or west coast of Florida or the keys. I would love to go out to Pulley Ridge, Dry Tortugas and out of the east coast for some of the deep water.

Second on that would be Venice La and the deep deep water 30 miles off their coast by the rigs and for all the big fish there.

Third would be the New England area for the offshore

In addition to that coming from Ohio the Great lakes area lake erie offers some great walleye fishing and perch fishing. Small mouth

Coming from running bass tournaments there are some amazing fresh water lakes in KY, TN, MN and the mid west that offer some amazing big fish like Muskie, Northern Pike etc and you get out to the Pacific Northwest were I lived for a while some Salmon fishing

A safe place to be is the Big Sky state -- Montana. Lots and lots of open space and certainly a lot of the best trout fly fishing in the country. Montana has one of the lowest rates of infection. Rent a house for a couple of weeks alongside the Upper Madison River in God's country and fish your heart out just miles away from Yellowstone National Park.

seeing all the good reports from NC mainly Oregon inlet to morehead city, tons of yellowfins and dolphin (not the ones that fit in a 5 gallon bucket, as well as an excellent marlin bite we are gonna head that way next week, fish the Big Rock tournament, then hopefully if we can pull it off, do Bermuda for july, then Aug head to Pirates Cove in Aug for the hot bite up there. Then head back to Andros and continue as we had planned for this season offering offshore and flats fishing from out lodge. if anyone is interested in fishing with us please let me know we have a few bookings already.

Haha, and he was right too! It's hard to beat Oregon Inlet for combined billfishing, meat fishing, and relative distance to run.
