Well, at least he wasn't burning up a ton of gas like the 900 HP trip outboards I see running up and down the ICW.

are you seriously comparing that to the amount of damage this ONE idiot has caused in just a few weeks?

Not at all, I'm talking about the amount of damage he's done in his 5 or so year odyssey from NPB down to Peanut Island. Up until the last storm he was mostly just an eyesore and a person to ridicule on THT.

You should demonstrate leadership by example then; practice what you preach and all.

He's a fly speck in the pepper compared to what one developer does to our waterfront

Do you even know how much fuel triple 300’s burn compared to the average, twin diesel sportfish?

That aside, what does that have to do with ANYTHING on this thread?

Half this thread is about him shitting or urinating in the water. That's what. You think what the rest of us do every time we go out it is helping clean up the waterways. And maybe you should take a walk down Flagler Drive and look at all the boaters trash that floats up. With the exception of his storm damage he was a minor problem.

And that has what to do with your triple engine outboard post?

You mistake my meaning. I'm fine with altering the natural environment to enjoy life on the water or in the mountains or anywhere else. I just don't begrudge anyone else the same privilege. Even Selby. He's just trying to live the dream like all the rest of us, even if he is a little unorthodox.

I am 100% for unorthodox living! I dig guys living on floating islands, on top of mountains, homesteaders, converting odd things into cool RV's......
That said, I'm only in favor when it's done well, doesn't destroy the area around it, and done so within the confines of normal regulations. There are so many quirky homes and boats out there that people like to look at and learn about. Some becomes hallmarks of areas. Then there are many more crazy people out there that pile up trash in defiance and disrespect to those around them.

Way off topic, but this guy reminds me of that show Alaskan Bush People. Those fools claimed to want to live with nature, but turned every property they were given into junk yards and then moved to the next.

Seems he “borrowed” that horse pic from some gal who called him out on it. He deleted her post and probably blocked her!

If the whack job isn't being a public hazard on the waterways he'll take his slow motion shit show to the highway. What could go wrong?

This is EXACTLY what he'll do. Then claim that he's being harassed by the land owners. He'll probably leave trash at each of his camp sites.
