Interesting that they haven't closed any airports but they want to close boat ramps. You can fly from any of the NYC airports and spread the virus throughout the country but half the state has closed ramps and you can't go fishing in isolation.

If you fly here from NY, I think you now have to quarantine for 14 days. SFL idiots ruined the boating for everybody during this situation. Closing is responsible since people cannot listen or manage themselves. Sad.

Need to get my boat back in the water, but can't use a ramp?
Any suggestions?

Good to know it's not everywhere, but it doesn't help us south Floridians F'ed up by the sandbar debacle.

Petitions are a waste of time, they are ignored by anyone that can make a decision

Take it over to a high-and-dry and have them drop it in with a fork lift. Might by pricey, and they might too be closed.

Who knows who and how they are enforcing the "mandatory" 14 day quarantine in Florida for those traveling from NY ?

I’m (sadly) guessing closures may occur in Pinellas. Ramp weekend follies... jet skis with 3 nuts to butts. 4-10 per boat... and LOTS of eyes on all the ramps. Hope I’m wrong, but.... check back Monday?

I am in, anyone know a class action attorney? The not so smart commissioners in Fort Lauderdale closed all the boat ramps, so boaters that trailer can’t use the water but if you live on the water feel free to use you boat. Sounds like discrimination against people who trailer their boats.

THIS!!! It would be nice to go out in the boat right now in a way to get away from people but like the post says a bunch of Idiots ruined it for everybody although it would've been better if the FWC or Marine Patrol would enforce "boating social distance" on the water, or not allowed people in the sandbars but the politicians took the easiest way out.

I've seen a lot of cars with NY tags driving in the FL Turnpike.
