Are the sandbars and waterways crowded again this weekend in SFL? Just curious if people are toning it down or not.

Same in Miami. Lines to launch the boats were ridiculous.

Yesterday (Friday) it was really nice. We even went to Lake Boca (we never do... too many people usually). Then we went to Wyman's to walk the trails.

ICW, etc. was good until about 5PM, then it got hectic.

Today the ICW was a zoo. I think we went a total of a mile to a small sandbar by the house... and it was a washing machine.

FPI was packed. I've never seen so many boats. I pass two ramps on The way home and both were overflowing.

Well we had some decent surf here yesterday and the surfers were out in usual numbers. Plenty of SD surfing thankfully.

Those boats are not rafted up close in that photo. That looks like people are still living..... but spacing out from each other.

Went out of Hillsboro Inlet - plenty of boats were rafted up reminiscent of Lake Boca further to the North - looked like Memorial Day weekend out there with all the boat traffic - no signs of "social distancing", that's for sure. No shortage of split tail - sorry, no pics.

Dumbasses. Sandbar action will wind up getting all recreational boating banned around the State. Folks should get on their boats and get away from others.

It was crazy out there today. Went out Boca inlet and headed south to Port Everglades and then up the ditch. Dog island in Fort Lauderdale was packed; the intracoastal looked like Memorial Day weekend; and Lake Boca was insane. The best statement of the day was on the way back north passing Lake Boca when I heard someone say on the vhf that today was actually busier than Boca Bash. Kaluz in Fort Lauderdale had a great sign;call ahead dockside pickup.

It's really stupid. We fished until the wife turned green then cruised a bit on the ICW. The raft ups are going to having it all shut down. I'm fishing solo tomorrow in hopes for a good meat haul.
