Default St. Pete Beach area- best places for lunch?

Going to be in the area over the next several days. Any must hit spots? Doesn’t need to be accessible by boat.
Thanks!

Dockside Dave's in Madeira Beach - best grouper sammie around. 14701 Gulf Blvd, Madeira Beach.

Ted Peters Smokehouse - smoked mullet, fish spread and killer burgers. 1350 Pasadena Ave S., St Petersburg

If you like Mexican food, try the VIP. 10625 Gulf Blvd

Good beach views - The Brass Monkey - 709 Gulf Way #200, St Pete Beach, FL

Boulavard Bistro on St.pete beach has great burgers. I love the turkey burger. Best I have ever had! Lived in the area for over 40 year. Ted Peters is the best for smoked fish. Dockside daves was a favorite but got a little sick after eating there last year at the madeira beach location. Will not go back. Maybe just a isolated incident as I have been going there over for over 20 years with no issues. You know how it is when you get sick at place you don't want to go back.

Thanks for the suggestions. We have Sea Dog up north. Any local microbreweries worth a visit?

Several good microbreweries near downtown St Petersburg, less than 10 minute drive from St Pete Beach. Check out Three Daughters Brewing, Cage Brewing. On the beaches Mad Beach Brewing is very good (in John's Pass Village).

Mastry's Brewery is very small but very close and has good beers.

Go to the Wharf (PAss-A-Grille) and get some food. It's not pretty but the food is good and it is on the water. The rooftop bar at the Dewey is really nice for a sunset.

I was going to suggest this one as well, better balance of "local" vs "touristy".

Ted Peters is good, but it's in a boring location for someone just visiting the area.

If you are looking for something upscale, Don Cesar has some nice options.

If you have a lot of time to kill, go all the way down to Pass-A-Grille.

If you go downtown go to Cycle first, imo the best St. Pete brewery. Three Daughters is great for the crowd, games, music, but the beer isn't anything special. There's also Green Bench, St. Petersburg Brewing, Overflow, Pinellas Ale Works, one or two more I can't think of.

Dockside Dave's for the hogfish or grouper Sando. There aren't many places on the beach with local fish.
