Default Boat trip to Bimini or West End

I'm towing my Ranger Tug 23 to Florida next winter. I've searched the forums but am looking for advice on where to park my truck/trailer while I head to Bimini or the West End (depending on how well the Dorian recovery goes). I'm flexible with dates and locations. I'm just starting to research good jumping off spots like Stuart/Jupiter/Everglades etc. where I can leave the rig. Preferably a marina so I can splash the boat and stay on board while waiting on a weather window.

there is a guy in jupiter who will store your trailer (jupiter farms). Also if you have to wait on the weather there is a spot couple miles north of the inlet (near Tiger woods house) you can anchor and wait it out. Check the FL section.

Do Bimini - not much to see in west end and with the Abacos out, no real need - launch and keep your rig at Harbortowne in Dania - close to the inlet and safe

If you want peace and quiet and good fishing go to west end, if you want to visit Miami go to bimini. You can launch out of west palm beach and keep your boat and trailer at lake park marina

I second Harbour Towne, i trailered from New Jersey and made the trip to Bimini in July and left the truck and trailer there. they have 24 hour security. 4 ramps and fresh water to rinse when you get back. you can run up to Bahia Mar and slip there if you need a day or two for a weather window.

I haven't been to Bimini, only to West End, and OBB is a great place to visit. Great fishing, and Freeport, Lucaya, Grand Lucaya Waterway, Great Isaac's, and a few other islands not too far away. I would definitely prefer that over Bimini.
I did park at Lake Park Marina, but cannot recommend it. Very few parking spots where a truck with 30' trailer will fit, and the claimed security does not exist. After a week my truck and trailer were in the same condition I left them, but I was very worried about it.
We stayed the night at Riviera Beach City Marina, which was very reasonably priced, in great shape, and with nice and very clean facilities. Sailfish Marina is on the other side of Peanut Island, for fuel.

Abaco is not out. In fact Abaco should be great for visiting next Winter. Even now, Abaco Inn has reopened, Firefly will reopen in March and by next Winter, many places will be in full swing ... lots of them by this Summer. Those places are on Elbow which was hit worse than Green Turtle, etc.

Have you ever been to Miami? If so then you have been to Bimini!
