Unhappy Broward BBQ. There's nothing left.

Well... WTH to do now?

I won't eat at Georgia Pig since they think it is "OK" to microwave a pulled pork sandwich.
Can't stand that Jenkins place.
Blue Willy is gone.
Hickory Sticks is gone.
The place by Sunrise and Federal is gone.
Wife said we ate at Mississippi Sweets once, but I don't remember if I liked it. LOL.

There's a place by Prospect Plastic but out of 10 people I know, only 1 guys likes it. LOL.

We don't eat much BBQ, but on occasion, a fix is needed.

Am I going to need to start smoking meat again? Too much work. LOL.

Mississippi sweets in Boca is OK, I'm not a big fan. Troy's BBQ from Boynton just opened up a location in Boca. He started out as just a smoker by the road and now has two restaurants. Try them. When they are on, they are on.

Park Ave BBQ in PB Co is consistently the best around and has been for about 2 decades. Second place goes to Pig Sty in Boynton and Mission BBQ in Boynton isn't bad either.

Troys is okay but they’re incapable of timely service. Mission is the move. Ask for the white sauce, it’s not in the 6 pack of sauces on the table.

Olive Garden is best Italian nationwide as well, while wedding soup, salad and breadsticks don't exist in Italy. PA is similar trash

Mississippi Sweets ribs are good, and their "sweets". Rest is average. Georgia Pig is great, i get chopped pork platter instead of sandwich bun

Tom's off Calle Ocho in Miami has great ribs too

Houstons has amazing ribs but to the tune of $25+

That's one thing I don't miss about Broward. Good luck!

I like the idea of adding in some smoked seafood and doing it right.

Remember the guy on 84 who used to go half and half with you when you brought in a bunch of kingfish or AJ fillets to smoke, that place is gone too. Has to be a market for counter serve excellent BBQ and fish smoking...

I hear iguanas make great BBQ. Make sure to brine them in saltwater first

Smoke BBQ just north of Oakland and A1A is worth a try.

Blue Willy's had some of, if not the best brisket around.

Fat Boyz has 2 other locations. One on Sample west of the Turnpike and one on Powerline just south of 10th st. When I need a BBQ fix they are my go to place now that Blue Willy's is gone.

Four Rivers is also very good on their brisket but kind of out of the way for me.

Love the ribs at Mississippi Sweets with the tractor treads.

A lot of places here I didn't know about... I'll have to check them out!

And, you know what, a "Florida Style" BBQ wouldn't be crazy.

Fat Boyz looks to get good reviews AND you can order online and pickup. Hmmm... THT to the rescue for my next fix!
