I caught my biggest blackfin on a grunt (when I couldn’t catch any other bait) as well. Nice fish.

I love using grunts offshore. My second favorite bait.

Nice cobia! We got into them snapper fishing live bottom between st aug & mayport last week, but all were short. I think there is a bit of a thermocline as we were reading 84 on top, but lead was coming up cool.
