Default Ormond Beach to Astor

Can this be done in two days?
Where would you stop over night ?
Seems only hotels are in St Augustine or Palatka.
Can you make Palatka in one day.
Thanks

If you give us more information we maybe able to provide a better answer. What kind of boat, what's cruise speed? From Astor you can make Palaka easily in a few hours. Are you going to Jacksonville and then down the intracoastal to Ormond. Whats your planned route?

Cant comment on timing. Just be aware the river is very wide up that way and can get choppy if theres any wind.

Get a slip at River City Brewing in Jax. Spend the night at the Double Tree Hilton , short walk. About 100 mile run to Astor the next day. I’ve done it a few times, good trip.

Sure if your able to run 25 you should not have an issue. If you don't have a chart showing the intracoastal from Jax to Ormond. I would get one. It will show you all the information and miles.

What he said, with no problem. Good trip but watch the weather this time of year.

FWIW, the St John's south of Jax can get nasty depending on the wind. It's big, open water that has the potential to beat you into submission in a Pioneer 175. Just keep that in mind.
