Default Parking at World Wide Sportsman in Islamorada?

Is parking available for a truck and 34' travel trailer at World Wide Sportsman in Islamorada? I'd like to shop there for a half hour or so on my way to Bahia Honda. Thanks.

Or within a few blocks and I could walk there?

The Old Highway runs parallel to US 1. It is across the street on the Oceanside. You can pull in on that road and park on the shoulder. I see people do it all the time.

On the East side of US1 as mentioned above, sure you could do it for a bit.

By all means, park on the highway; but don’t dare complain about slow traffic.

Or you could do what everyone else does, park on the highway and put an orange cone on your trailer coupler with a jack next to a tire then grab a cold one.

I've seen them ticket cars on the opposite side of the highway.

My bad if it's illegal. I drive through Islamorada between four and five times a week and I almost always see someone parked there. I just assumed they didn't mind.

No possible unless its empty. Even then the lot is tight and difficult to get out once you pull in. I would find parking on the ocean side and walk across.

I haven't towed a boat down there in the last few years , it figures they are doing that now . Always used to park on side of road before . Sorry to hear that

its expensive enough to stop there without the ticket. $100 lunch, $100 on stuff we thought we needed at the moment. Best to just keep driving. Unless it’s around sunset and then it might just be worth it. Ha!
