Default Crossing advice

Hey guys we are crossing to the Bahamas leaving out of fort Pierce heading all the way to treasure cay on June 21st. Staying several days and treasure cay then heading back and stopping at Grand cay overnight. We already have our rooms booked at Josie Wales.
A any advice for this trip?
I heard getting into Grand k can be tricky.

Grand can be a little tricky but not too bad. If you haven't, get a copy of Steve Dodge's Cruising Abaco Guide, very helpful info. there.

Just did the same run to Green Turtle. Only thing I did different from the Dodge Guide was entered at White sands and ran across. Looking at my Garmin chart it showed a shoal and some rocks along the path. The Garmin charts have some built in course lines in them and I diverted around the area by following a couple of those as they intersected my path just before the shoaly area. Other than that it is pretty easy.
