The one just inside Sebastian inlet. Bird Island on the Butler Chain. Hernando Beach head out the channel youll see the area on the other side of the spoil pile. There is one in almost every body of water.

I live on Lake Conway. There is only one decent size public ramp and it will be a shit show all day. Get there by 9am or don’t bother.

The jet skis are a nuisance and mostly rude.

I’m going to Ponce

Go to Tampa, Clearwater, Anna Maria... well worth a day trip. But yeah, the two most popular are Sebastian Inlet and Disappearing Island.

Spent the day at disappearing island.. SHIT SHOW! Showed up early. Pontoon pulls in hour or so after we anchor. Pulls out for 4 concert sized speakers and blasts them as load as he can. Ask for him to turn down just a bit so we can have conversation, tells me F off.
Where do these people come from. Zero courtesy or respect for anyone but themselves.

We were there today. It was good where we were, but surrounded by friends. I think we had a run in with the exact same guy last year. Exact same deal. We didn’t mind the choice of music, but we couldn’t even hear each other. Same reaction to us, but he is lucky my friends showed restraint.

Was at Disappearing Island yesterday also. Got in early and got out early. Had a good time but the jet-skis were out of control. Saw a lot of silliness on the water.

ckbook- what side of DI were you on. Never had any problems, but I'm generally on the north side and anchored up to the west of the no wake zone. There is also another island just a stones throw on the west side up to the northwest corner. You also have the real DI to the north of DI.

North side just inside no wake zone. We ended up moving east on other side of channel.

I headed to local lake in West Orange/lake County that has a little county park. No riff raff. Nice day out.

Ended up at some of my family’s house on butler and did a cruise on the pontoon today. Bird island wasn’t bad at all.
