Default Boutique Hotels Islamorada

Can we start a list of "nicer" boutique / small hotels from say Tavernier to Lower Matecumbe.....

Rates are a bit out of control at the larger hotels...

Just looking for some alternatives for my bi-monthly weekends ...

Thanks

Check out Caloosa Cove. They are re-doing all of it. Pretty cool little efficiencies. Rates are extremely reasonable as far as the keys go.

We stayed at the Drop Anchor Resort last year and really liked it. Nice property.

We stayed at Hadley House (formerly Days Inn) in Islamorada last December. Decent rates, rooms were great - newly renovated. It is on the oceanside with dockage for smaller boats. Nice pool. I got the feeling they had just opened, so staff was a little disorganized but other than that I was impressed.

I got married at Caribbean. Place is unreal, so nice. Not cheap, 2 night minimum, worth every penny IMO.

Fisher Inn Resort and Marina looks nice. It is the old Harbor Lights Resort.

My favorite was already mentioned and I'll throw in a 2nd vote for The Caribbean Resort.

Edgewater Lodge on Long Key. Nothing fancy about it, just a nice place to relax. Boat ramp, dockage, pool, free kayaks for the kids, awesome sunsets and great customer service.

Sorry, just re-read Islamorada
