Default WTB CLASH 6000 Handle

My Clash 6000 (CLA 6000) handle snapped in half while reeling up a 16oz bank sinker. Had corroded at the elbow and snapped right in half. The reel looks like its still in decent shape but Im not paying 50 dollars to Penn for a replacement handle on a 100 dollar reel. Anyone have something laying around that might work?

If you haven’t already I suggest at least partially disassembling and inspecting that reel to see what else the saltwater might have gotten to. There may be other parts that are corroded. May change your mind about salvaging it.

Also, is the arm above the elbow still good? If so you could put on an aftermarket knob.

The reel looks ok but Im sure its also doomed. The handle is not salvageable. I actually thing the Battles are better reels.Ive had a few original battles that have taken a beating and still work fairly well

Here’s another option: contact Penn with photos of the handle and see if they’ll help you out with the cost. Daiwa just sent me some parts for free...
