Default wet slip in Manteo/Wanchese

Just tire kicking here about a 34 express that would need to be kept in the water. Any idea what an okay slip (nothing fancy, but secure) in Manteo would run? Or, a suggestion on where to call for a quote? Kinda leads me into another question, and thats what a bottom job would cost on a 34? The boat I'm eyeballing is currently on the hard and stripped/prepped but no paint, so it would go in with a fresh bottom.

thanks!!

I would bet the cheapest is at Shallowbag Marina. Some also available at PIrates cove. OBX Marina has some in Wanchese.
saw some on sale at Pirates Cove yesterday. Look it up under Pirates Cove Realty. Laura is real going at finding what you need. Think my buddy’s slip is for sale at $75k

There is a couple slips listed at Pirates Cove starting at 49k that will handle a 45’ boat. Not sure of anything smaller. Not sure on your bottom paint but with a fresh bottom you would need 2 good coats, my 28 took 3/4 gallon for 1 so maybe 3-4 gallons at $100.00-150.00 a gallon plus labor.

I just went through this and ended up at Wanchese Marina for my 32 Cabo. Very good hearted local crowd, Very good seasonal rate especially if you prepay for a year like I did. Annual fee is almost half what OBX wanted. I was seriously tempted to buy a slip at PC for $40k but couldn't justify the annual fees and gas prices there. I'm spending some of that savings on boat mods. I can get diesel for $1.57 there in the harbor. They are also doing a lot of upgrades and installing additional slips now. All good things in my book that show a commitment by ownership for the long haul.

Thanks guys- Sorry, by Manteo, meant to include Wanchese. Hell, or anywhere convenient to going out OI... I'll give Wanchese Marina a call.

FYI, mods moved this thinking I was selling or buying something which I am not?? I also now seem to be blocked from editing the post title to clarify. Hope this doesn't confuse anyone, thank the mods.
