Default WTB: Lower-End Fish/Depth Finder

I'm looking to pick something up on the lower end of the price spectrum, maybe sub-$200. Would mostly be used in LI Sound out of Mt. Sinai. I mainly target fluke, so the depth finding is more important than the fish finding... I also want the ability to mark spots where I hook into fish.

The boat's an old, beat up 19' '79 MFG Caprice. Don't need anything fancy.

Ideally, I'd like something complete with all components. Surely someone is upgrading their electronics

I guess? I don’t know, this would be my first purchase for something like this. I’ve been using the Navionics Boating app with an iPad.

Let me read depth and have the ability to *boop* mark a location. Is that price point unrealistic for the used market?

I typed:

"depth finder chartplotter under $200"

into Google and found many brand new units in your price range.

I'm actually doing that right now. Looking at the Garmin Striker 4cv on Amazon as we speak. Something like that looks like just what I want.

I would look at buying an older Lowrance like a 7" HDS gen 1.
