I make my own. I’ve purchased them in past from Gil and liked them

I just bought a roll of 1/4” three strand nylon. line And some 316 stainless clips and splice both ends. I just splice while I’m watching TV. It’s a good quarantine thing to do!

look up Leesh-it. Have one on my boat and works great. Nice system that will hold your rods in the holders not catch them after they've come out. Also works for holding your fenders.

I installed a strap eye like this: https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?id=5374893 at each rod holder and built my own leashes. I used heavy Momoi mono left over from re lining my outriggers. I think it is 400 #. Any similar mono will do. I crimped a big snap swivel at one end and a brass spring clip like you'd see on a dog leash at the other end. We put one on each strap eye using the snap swivel. They are short - about 18" or so end to end. When you unclip them from the reel, they just hang there out of the way.

Take a look at these. Rod & Reel Safety Lanyard

Hand built using the finest components. Line is premium grade 5/16”, 3 strand nylon, extra limp for easy handling and long wear. Clip choices are solid bronze or 316 stainless steel. Eye splices are hand crafted with 5 and 7 tucks. Standard length is 12’ but any length is available. If you fight standup, one save pays for the lanyard ten times over. 2 for 30 plus shipping

I love the leesh it concept. That’s just a cinched dock line with prusik loops. Brilliant idea.

Our super stretch leash is made out of a material similar to string trimmer line...with a 600# rating....

It is 12" long.;..but will stretch to over 17 feet!

Stainless steel locking caribiner.

Here is a link to my thread here:Rod Leashes....Super Stretch!!
