Hey Gil, can you fire me a total cost on a 7610xsv with the NMEA starter kit? Looks like I sold another unit intended for my boat

Roger. I'll take a quote for the hd+. What's the difference in price b/t the "+" and the "X" HD? $400? Any real world benefits on the X?

The GMR 18HD+ is $1095 shipped.
The GMR 18xHD is $1335 shipped.

The GMR 18xHD has a no transmit safety zone and also is dual range capable...and is a 48 mile range.

GMR18HD+..36 mile range...no dual range or safety zone

Good morning Gil,

I'm very old school, still using CRT fishfinders. I'm looking for a very large screen, easy to use fishfinder. I know nothing about chirp but if you feel it's beneficial I'll go by your recommendations. Can you suggest a unit for me. Thanks.

Good morning,

What size boat and how deep do you fish?..we need that info to determine the transducer.
And feel free to call me on my 800 number.

The boat is a 23' Regulator. My daily fishing takes place in 20' to 120' of water. Offshore about 240' would be the max. Thanks.

I would like to have something simple like the old school units where you turn on the machine, crank up the gain until the screen gets fuzzy and back off a bit. If that even kind of thing even exist anymore. The largest screen possible.

For that ....you need to go to Ebay and look for a vintage unit such as a Furuno 582L

So, the difference between the two auto pilot systems is one has the GHC20?

And then do both still have the shadow drive?
