This allows me to change up the short leader based on the targeted species, whether they be leader shy, toothy, etc. I have also started adding small weights to the hooks to act as a keel to keep the hook running in the down position. Some of the lures I have added a lure lock which allows me to pull the electrical tape over the shackled end into, also helping to keep the hook positioned correctly
Interesting, would you mind sharing a few pictures of you’re rigs so we can better understand the setup ?

Needless to say, these have been my favorite lures and have been the most productive that I’ve ever used. I have no affiliation with the seller.
Have heard mixed reviews on how fast these can be trolled. 10 guys 10 answers.

The head design is intended to maximize efficiency in the water ... in other words striking best combination of tradeoffs in straight tracking, clean trail, speed for a given lure weight.

These lures have a fairly narrow diameter which continues on through the first few inches of the skirt .... the idea is to minimize the path of travel size.

A fat wide bodied lure must displace more water as it moves, vs. a more streamlined shape that moves with less resistance.

now have the GSD (clear head) and SSD (colored heads) in stock

these are made by Area Rule Engineering / previously marketed under brand name "Profish" (no longer in business)

Brooks Morris was Chuck Yeager's wingman. He also patented the use of fighter aircraft aileron drive auto reduction gearing in reels, marketing the Tiburon SST reels. He was an avid Marlin fisherman I have just learned

1- PayPal account not required, can pay invoice with any card online. Pay-Pal just handles the transaction so it's safe for all

2- can also guest check out on eBay without creating an account.

3- or can create an eBay account with just an email address
