Looking to replace my Lowrance Hook 7 (I know, I know) with a unit that'll closely match the flush mounted dimensions since I have little space on the console.
There are some Lowrance and Simrad units that seem close but I'm concerned that the new unit will be too small for the existing cutout. The Hook 7 seems to be lengthier than most current gen units.
Any suggestions?

I was interested in replacing my 15 year old Raymarine radar with a Lowrance unit. Questions were answered, recommendation made, and I ordered. Great price, easy ordering, plus shipping was quick and accurate. I installed the unit; the only issue was threading the cable from the hardtop through the tower legs, but with enough lube anything is possible. Set up was straightforward, and this is a huge upgrade. This unit uses a small fraction of the power, is safe, yet provides better detail and far more flexibility than the old unit. By linking to my Lowrance network, I saved valuable display space while having a coordinated system.
