I am very interested. Would you explain the difference between these models of 840xs?

010-01181-00
010-01181-01
010-01181-02

Thank you.

The units themselves are the same.

The -01 does not have an included transducer.

the other two would have a basic ducer included.

I think I need to grab one of these! One question. I have a Glacier Bay 2670 do you know if the GT23-TM transducer can fit one such a boat? From what I'm seeing it is 9 inches long? I'll try to measure tonight to see if that will fit, but if you happen to know first hand if there is room for that to be mounted it would be great.

Also, would the GVC10 be required with the 840xs? Required to work at all or just some of the transducer functionality?

Cheers!
Tony

the GCV 10/GT30 will give you side and down scan...but not traditional.

I have sold GT51 and GT23 units for boats like yours.
Yes, they are long..but no issues there.

For shallow water use a GT20.....

If you want side scan on the 840x you need to add the GCV 10/GT30.

Excellent, so just need 840xs and GT23-TM for the Traditional chirp, but to add Downview/etc would also need GCV10/GT30 right?

The GT23 gives Traditioanl CHIRP and also CHIRP Down vu.

And if you want side scan..you need the GCV 10/GT30 also.

840xs..$425
GT23---$159
GCV 10/GT30...$465

$1049.

But wiht all that you would almost be better to get a new ehoMAP 94sv plus with the all in one cv51 Transducer.....$1099. shipped.
Or with the GT51 transducer.....$1298 shipped.

Spoke with Gil a couple of times on the phone, very thorough even though it was an inexpensive purchase. Fast shipping on the 840xs, arrived today. Excellent service and product knowledge.

No,
The GT23 has both CHIRP Traditional ...and... CHIRP Down Vu.
so if you do not need side vu this is the one.

the GCV 10 has down vu and side vu.
