You are a "Rig Artist" my friend.

I have switched all my premade rigs to Blueaction. Quality and service are unmatched
I couldn't agree more. Great guy and great rigs. Doug is top-shelf! Got my rigs and plan to get them wet next weekend.

To give credit where credit is due......Just got back from a trip to Grand Cay to deep drop with these rigs. We put over 100 fish in the boat and the rigs looked brand new. You can't beat these rigs. No kinked up tangled rigs after 100 fish is impressive. The length is perfect, the droppers are perfect.. They hooked up to a fish every drop. I am more tham impressed with all of Dougs gear. Not to mention you cannot make them for the price and his customer service is the best hands down. These rigs are a game changer for deep dropping. Get them, you wont be dissapointed. We wont ever drop anything but these rigs from now on, period.

How long is the mainline? Wondering if it will clear the water on a bent butt or if I’ll have to sling the weight over the rail.

Thanks

Depending on the rig: Approx. 63-69" so also depends on your rod and bent butt dimensions/configurtion.

We always grab the weight and bring in the boat, in the adjacent rod holder (stick weight that fits) or other device (I used to use PVC contraption I made).

I appreciate it. You just let the droppers swing free or just hook them to the one above or below like a sabiki rig?

The branch lines and hooks hang free. There was a photo above that gives pretty good representation of how its configured. Please feel free to give me a call if I can add more detail or explain better? Always happy to discuss.

We have the rods in holders near middle of the boat, stick weight in a rod holder a couple spots back from the rod. The rig stays out of the water and the droppers swing freely. We pull around to the numbers, gently toss the weight out the side to keep the rods apart. These rigs are the perfect size for sure. They also never tangle. I definately recommend them.

These are what I am using. They will catch smaller fish too, but still big enough for the giants.

Once again, Blue Action Tackle has filled the fish box. Supreme craftsmanship is the only way I can describe these deep drop rigs. Thanks again Doug ! You are UN-beatable !!
