Looking for two spinning setups for stripers up here in the northeast on a 4-5k class reel

Which of these would you recommend?

Rod 22 and 23 are both great if you like a 7' rod....... the 4000 is a good match for the 12-20 cork rod and the 5000 is better for the 15-25 rod.

ALSO...... For a 5000 reel, i make a rod that looks just like #18 here but its a 6' spinning rod that is rated 12-20..... perfect Striper boat rod. I made that rod ideally for the Northeast and its perfect for the 5000 reels.

I like the 7' Inshore Spin 12-20 rod. Great fit for a 4000 reel. Great light action rod ideal for 12-15# test.

the lighter 8-17 rod will also work fine as well.... the 8-17 just has more flex and we use 10-12# test with that rod........

I'm looking for a few 7' spinning rods for big redfish and the occasional tarpon To pair with 6000 series reels.

I like my rods like I like my women, light overall, and flexible up top but with some backbone in the lower section. I usually go down in line test ratings if I'm on the fence.

Suggestions?

I would lean towards the graphite cork rods rather than the eglass rods. The Inshore Spin 15-25 is ideal for the 6000 spin reels. I like the lighter-softer 12-20 for the 5000 reels.
