The 165 and the 180 indicates the rod length in CM with the standard butt attached. The 165cm is aprox 5' 6", and the 180cm is 6 foot.
The 165XR rods 60-100 with elim jr rollers are currently available.

Hey John, I have 4 of the XR series 30-80 with Makaria 30s on them, and I’m purchasing 4 Makaria 50s, do you recommend the XR Pro? (30-80) or (60-100)? Thanks again, love my XRs!

Mike, if you are planning to do fast trolling or your target is a sounding fish (BFT, YFT) in deep water, I would go with a the 60-100 for better head turning control. If you are standard trolling and like a rod that is more forgiving on head shakes, and fast runs at the boat, the 30-80 would be the better choice. Either rod is a great choice, just depends on the feel that you prefer when tightening up.

FYI, the TSX 30 Pro is a good rod if you are looking for an in-between. The flex of that rod is a parabolic that falls right in the middle of the 30-80 vs 60-100 blank.
