Default Wahoo special still going on

I have extended the XR- ALPS S-6 Wahoo special

Note to customers for the last week of March 27- 31- The Shop will have limited hours as I recoup from a total hip replacement. I don't intend on this slowing me down much, but I might need a few days to get my wind back. Thanks for the patients in the coming week !!!

John, I ordered a terminator 100 last Thursday over the phone. I haven't received an email yet. Just making sure everything went right and we didn't get cc#'s mixed up or something . Good luck with your recovery. Justin

Default Rod to Match Avet SX G2

I bought two avett for my two 10 year old kids. I would like to know what rod you think would match well with these. I was looking at the conventional spiral jigging rods. Would this be a good match? Using mostly for bottom fishing.

Any update on if these are are available? And if so, would they be a good fit on a Banax1000? Also, glad to hear you're back on your feet. Hope all is going well

Default swivel inserts....

just a question- do these inserts fit securely in rod holders with a welded BAR gimbal, as opposed to a pin/rounded gimbal (like in your pic)? Reason is - I'm looking at CE smith holders- that have a bar gimbal-------Thanks! Mike

$200ea with straight Butt or $215 with short curved
The XR Series stand-up rods have been on the top as one of best selling models for the last 15 years. The latest version, now distinguished as the Pro Series displays one of the coolest guides that ALPS has ever created. The ALPS RX - M (medium) roller guide has a .25 inch clearance, yet still maintains a lower profile and weight to make them extremely functional on fast tapered stand-up rods. This Guide, like the other RX models have the recessed roller to prevent any line chaffing between the roller and the cage. This is a key feature when using braid. The chassis for the guide is Aluminum, and all attachment hardware / roller is 316 SS.
Specs:
Specs: Solid composite blank –Length – 5’ 6” with straight butt, or 5’ 8” with short curved
Guides -ALPS RX-M - Medium Over-Size
Wrap options:
Blue/Silver Diamond
Gold/Black Diamond
Coating – FLEXCOAT – ULTRA V
Butt: Pacific Bay International #2
Interested in one of these in blue/silver...sent you a pm

Default Swivel insert fitment in various rod holders

To answer the question regarding the fitment of the swivels - general rule for these...If the gimbal on your rod will lock onto the rod holder pin (or welded bar), so will the cutout that is on the swivel. If there is an issue with it not fitting properly, and I am not aware of one to date, find a friend with a grinder / disk to slightly modify the cutout on the swivel so it fits the way you would like it to.

SWORD 50 RODS ARE SOLD OUT - I am working on having these available in the next 3-4 weeks. If it's something that you need, please send me a PM so I can put you on the priority list.
Include contact number, and email address.
Also - The Winthrop Terminator butt is going to be an option for all Pinnacle Marine rods starting this summer. This is a pricey option and not for everybody. If you are interested in this option, please give me a call directly so I can get the butts on order.

Thank You

John, Can you give a little more detail on the blank used for the White Marlin rod? Taper / action, line rating, etc...

Trying to figure out if it is more of a live bait rod with a soft tip / lot of forgiveness or more of a traditional dead bait trolling rod.

John can you tell me if you make the XR with Fuji hd guides in all black? Don't want any color wrap at all. Also sent you a pm asking the same question.

Thanks.
