The shop is going to be closed 12- 17 Aug for a much needed fishing vacation.

The Shop is open today!

Shipping cost is going to a little higher than usual until further notice. Everything is going to be shipped via Fedex Vs - The the less expensive route of the US post service.
The USPS is having some serious issues right now with timely deliveries and I'm not sure when this problem will be resolved.
If you have already ordered from me in the last two weeks, and your USPS tracking says " delivery will be delayed" - You are not the only one.

It will get there, as they all have so far, just ridiculously late.

Thanks to everyone for an extremely busy summer!

Don’t let the shipping issues deter you from buying rods from John. I’ve ordered rods from him over the past 10+ years and they’ve always arrived, I also have a rod in transit that is delayed that I’m looking forward to seeing with an IRT reel that’s supposed to arrive this week as well!

Wanted to pop in and thank John as well as leave good feedback for any potential buyers evaluating his products. I was referred to this thread and his shop last week.

I spoke with him on the phone Wednesday. The two rods shipped that day and arrived Sunday! I am thrilled with the product and can't wait to bend the tips.

No problems with shipping, here is a package of my mail that has arrived in Kwajalein and look at the box of my new rods from John...heck, I am still stuck in Oklahoma City waiting for the final approval to fly to my new home...

Default Roller guides.

Where can I find the bolts for the roller guides for the elimnator rollers? I had a roller fall off yesterday and the bolt is gone. I swapped it out with another roller to fish for the day.

I use the same rods for all the different species of fish and they are great. Thanks for the great gear. I have used much more expensive rods and these are on par or better than a lot of them.

Hi John,
We have many of your White Marlin rods and they are some of my favorite rods I own. Primarily used for whites I end up using them for many other species as well. How does the 400g spinning rod compare to the WM rod?

Thanks,
Scott

Very nice meat hall!
I sure do miss Guam! One of my favorite places on earth.
Spent 5 years there stationed at Andersen - Loved every minute
The people and the place!

Thanks for the great Pics and continued success on the water!

The 400g spinning rods have a faster tip action than the WM. Both blanks are very similar in overall backbone, but the WM rods are slightly more parabolic from grip to tip.

Sorry I missed you.
Usually this time of year it starts to slow down a bit, but this year it is still extremely busy. When you call, please leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I get a chance.
My normal business hours are 8am - 5pm.
Thank You!
