Default Sword rod hooks more than swordfish.....
Well the rod not only hooked a sword on the first trip, But now has me hooked on another species to target........... as always the the rod is top quality.

The Sword 50 rods are back in stock in both solid and carbon Fiber - $350 - $385 ea with #4 bent butt. If you need a #6 or Winthop Terminator butt instead - Not a problem.

The custom Sword rods are also available with Calstar Baja Boomer, and the Boomer Jr. Lead time on that rod 5 days.

The shop will be close Friday July 6 at noon - Sunday the 8th to catch up on some offshore action - Seas are 1 foot Saturday and Sunday

John, Question: On your gaffs with screw in ends, what size are the threads? I'm considering using the gaff pole as a bang stick...most have threaded ends. I've been looking at Bill's Bangsticks and they have adapters for 5/16"-18 to 6mm, which their powerheads are threaded for. Maybe I should have just asked if you have a powerhead / pole setup?
