Default 1977 Pontiac Trans Am

1977 Pontiac Trans Am
$9500.00
No T-tops
Buccaneer red
Pontiac 400ci engine Rebuilt 10,000 miles ago.
107,000 miles
Black vinyl interior
Automatic transmission
Air conditioning
Car has a reconstruction title in Penn.
Paint is a few years old
interior is in great shape.

I have (2) of these and need to sell this one to pay for the restoration of the other one.

Car drives straight and runs terrific. This is not a show car but it is in great shape.
This car could easily be used to attend local car shows.
Jeff
These cars are going up in value every day.
I can Email pictures to anyone that is interested.
I would rather you PM me and I can give you a call and we can discuss the car.

Will make even trade for 30'+ 2006 Center Console with twin Yamaha's. Just a thought

WEAKFISH
The other one I have being restored is going to be painted in the Smokey and the Bandit theme.
Everyone tells me to make it back to original but what the hell. You only live once and who wouldn't want to be the BANDIT for a day.

That is on right now. One of the all time classics. "Junior, when I get home, I'm gonna punch yo momma in the mouth."

The excellent fuel economy of that car should make it a great commuting vehicle. If I had that, I'd probably go through two tires a month, and I'd have to buy the gas station.

Awesome car.

I had a friend that had a '75 in red.....beautiful car.....and an absolute rocketship. Again beautiful car!! If I didn't have a boat and two little kids I'd have to consider that beauty for my midlife.. "Thay is no way you came from my loins"

J,
I thought that development looked familar, I live in Souderton in Banbury Crossing. I use to have a 77 with the T tops in gold. It was awesome. I paid $3500 for it off a neighbor of mine in 94. It had 65K on it as well. I should have never got rid of it.

Pete,

I live right around the corner. That car you sold is probably worth between 15 and 20k. I would love to hold onto this one but I need the cash to finish the other one. And the better half says if I want to buy another boat next year it better be out of the garage. It is a blast to drive. Amazing how many people stop and give you the thumbs up.

Jeff,
Yeah the one I had was really mint. I sold it for a little over 9K with 85K on it. It was all gold with the gold bird and black interior and solid gold mags. When I bought it off my neighbor back in pittsburgh he even gave me the trans am drivers coat he got with it back in 77. I was 23 and on top of the world. A vintage trans am, and heavy metal.

That's a really sweet car at a fair price. When I was a teenager I had the 74 Formula with the 400ci it was a fun car.

I really love the car but, having 2 of them doesn't make much sense right now.
After watching the Barrett-Jackson auctions this weekend I almost considered keeping it.

If anyone one is interested please feel free to Email me and I can give you a call.

It's a really fun car to drive.

What does "reconstruction title" mean? Man I love that car. You will enjoy this story. While growing up, we had a basketball goal in the driveway, I was shaking it(don't ask why) one day and the metal pole cracked right in the middle. I thought it was going to come down but it settled straight up and you couldn't tell it was cracked. Well, Smokey and the Bandit came out and my brothers friend bought the Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am. It was the hottest car in town. He drove it to our house to show us and parked it under the basketball goal. While we were oohing and aahing over it, my brother leaned on the basketball goal and down it came...right on top of the Trans AM. Shattered one side of the t-top and dented and scratched it all the way down the side of the car. To this day, they still wonder why that goal post gave way.

JAGSARE1

The car has been in a previous accident. All necessary repairs where made.
I car is supposed to leave for a new home on Thursday. If it doesn't I will post more pics.
As far as the goal post it will be our little secret.
I would have cried if that was my car.
I have always loved the look of the Bandit version.
I am in the restoration process of having a 1977 TA that is identical to the one I have listed here converted into a bandit look a like.
the car is a blast to drive.

Good luck. A car like that just wouldn't work for me at this time but I love them.
