Hannah,

I assume it comes with your slip or mooring?

DAVE,
UNFORTUNATELY I DO NOT HAVE A SLIP OR MOORING. I'M ON THE WAITING LIST FOR BOTH. THE TOWN OF FALMOUTH CLOSED ALL MOORING FIELDS FOR THE TIME BEING, GREAT HARBORS DOES HAVE A MARINA, BUT I AM ALSO ON THE WAITING LIST THERE. I BELIEVE YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO USE MARINA TO PICK-UP PASSENGERS THERE THOUGH. GREEN POND LAUNCH IS LESS THAN 1/4 MILE AWAY.
ANY OTHER QUESTIONS JUST LET ME KNOW.

Hannah,

I did talk to my wife more about it. Can I get a 27' WA with a hardtop under the bridge to green pond at high tide? Is it possible to Anchor there overnight? Having easy access to the boat would really enhance the experience. My wife, who doesn't really like boating, woudn't mind a quick hop over to Oaks Bluff. And, I wouldn't mind a quick hop over to Quicks.

Regards,
Dave

hannah, try an ad on vrbo.com. we have a waterfront rental on the west coast of florida and pretty much sold it out within 2 weeks of placing the ad. also a great website for looking for places to stay.

isn't this closer to great pond, not green pond? the bridge clearance for great pond is 11' 4" @ MHW. a 27' w/hardtop should be no problem at all.

HI GUYS,
THE HOME IS ON GREAT POND, I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A MOORING OR SLIP YET, SO YOU WOULD HAVE TO LAUNCH AT GREEN POND, YOU COULD ALWAYS TO GREAT POND AND ANCHOR UP, GREEN POND LAUNCH FROM THE HOUSE IS ABOUT 1/4 MILE.

Hannah,
I am interested in the week of Aug. 5-12, but convenience for my boat is important to me since fishing South of MV is the primary activity for my vacation. I wouldn't want to come back from a long day on the water and deal with too much of a hassle at the boat ramp.

We would have two couples and two boats with trailers to park (23ft. & 19ft). My boat is 23 feet with a hard top, making it about 12 feet tall on the trailer. I would need adequate clearance under the tree branches on the streets in your neighborhood and back and forth from the boat ramp. I bring this up because I've had some difficulty fitting through small neighborhood streets due to the height of my boat/trailer.

Do you think your place is a good fit for me given my needs/concerns as outlined above?
Do you have any pictures of your driveway & parking area?
Can you suggest a marina that I could contact to possibly reserve a transient mooring or slip for the week?
