Default Another great day on the water

Took my neighbor out tile fishing who has never been offshore - 70 miles out in 1-2 ft.
The Banex worked all day without any issues.

A quick note about this reel and the "power down" feature - The Banax has a feature that most do not and that is the anti-backlash "birds-nest". When you flip the release on the reel, it will start a powered control descent that keeps the spool from spinning out/ birds nesting and controls the rod tip bounce. Result - a super fast drop and you don't have to control the descent with thumb pressure on the spool. I flip the switch and walk away. When the motor stops, I know its on the bottom. Coolest feature of any Electric I have ever used.

Thanks for the great press guys! Lots of happy customers out there at this point.

Appreciate you noting the power down feature John, it is a really nice feature that once you get used to it, you can't live without it.

Tight lines guys, thanks for all of you that have posted pics and sent me pics - always love it!

James

Blue rods on this page are Pinnacle marine. Blue rods on the previous page are Connely.

Black and silver rods are mine.

Honestly, they are all great rods from really good builders - of course I like mine the best, but that's because I've gone through a few iterations to get what I think is the perfect match for these reels. They weren't developed in a shop, they were developed by fishing experience!

I am interest in the price for your reel and rod combo?

Also interested in discount for purchasing 2 combos with hi-vis 60 or 80 pound line?

Icast is a great show! I'm a very small fish in a giant ocean. But, I have confirmed again, I am certainly offering the best product for the price. My reels and rods aren't cheap, but you won't beat what I'm selling for the money. Please believe that, the margin structure of this industry far exceeds my past distribution experience, I'm very happy to offer a great deal to my fellow fisherman, and provide the best service I possibly can. Catch em up fellas!

Finally got to use the new reels yesterday, love them, easy to use, quick to learn, lol, debating never winding a fish in again, too easy. Love the auto down feature, and also the auto stop on the way up, never have to stress over it banging on the rod tip. Not much in the way of a catch to show as this is a new fishery that we are exploring, just a couple of snappers. We'll be on this for the rest of summer and will find those hot spots with our awesome new K1000's making it possible.

Also found this tutorial on Youtube that helped prior to heading out the first time.

Can't see the links on facebook, but that's probably because I don't have facebook...

Thanks for the positive press guys, orders are shipping daily, and I just got a new batch of rods in. I might actually be able to keep these in stock for a few weeks.

Thanks THT crew, I appreciate the support.

James send me a price for two of these. Got a customer that we are outfitting their boat in the next two weeks. Doing a full 45 piece set with everything from trolling, jigging, swording (s-1200) and deepdropping. He deepdrops for tiles, snowies and queens but also planer fishes and I think these would dup great as dual duty deep drop and planer fishing reels. Charter guy so should get some serious use. Thanks bud.

45 piece setup? Darn, that's impressive.

Tiles / snowies / queens and planers sounds like a good match to me.

PM on it's way.

James,

The Banax reel and Frigate rod have been excellent. We've caught Snowies, Yellow Edge, Barrelfish, and plenty snapper with it. It's somehow became my son's reel, so I guess I'll have to buy another one soon if I want to use it!! Here's a few pics from the weekend. Thanks again,
Jay
