Default Wanted 250hp outboard 30in.shaft

Preferably Yamaha but considering all makes. I am repower a 24ft Grady White Offshore and am going from twin 150s to a single. I also need advice from any one who has done this conversion.
Any help would be appreciated.

That's a first. Usually Grady owners with singles want to convert to twins. That is going to kill the resale, IMO. That will take some work to convert the bracket, I would think. My bracket will not accept a single, 30 inch or not.

I think you will just need to drill the bracket. The biggest hassle is what to do with all the extra guages and the holes they leave. You could always just leave em in. If you have an ignition problem, just change harnesses...

Trying to cut fuel costs ?
